A creation by Nicolas Ghesquiere, creative director of Louis Vuitton, the Petite Malle was first seen on the Fall/Winter 2014 catwalk and quickly became the most coveted ‘It’ bag of the season. Inspired by the house’s rich and extensive heritage as a luxury luggage maker, Ghesquiere narrowed his muse to a number of custom models that were created between 1911 and 1929 for the wealthy banker and photographer, Albert Kahn. Scaled down to every minute detail, this bag is a gorgeous piece that can be worn on the shoulder, crossbody or in the hand as a clutch.
This beautiful Petite Malle comes from the Spring/Summer 2018 Collection where it is reimagined with floral appliques in calfskin over the classic Louis Vuitton monogram canvas. The condition of this Petite Malle can be described as ‘Like New’ due to the minor hairline scratches on the hardware. Additional items that come with this mini-sized classic include a box, dust bag and receipt.
